Plugger policies
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Original music, licensed covers, remixes you have permission for, and music videos. Every release needs working audio, a title, a genuine artist name and accurate credits.
Only upload audio you have the rights to distribute. Clear every sample, beat and feature before release. Unlicensed samples can get a release muted and repeated breaches can cost your upload access.
Use artwork you made or licensed. No nudity, sexual imagery, graphic violence, hate symbols, or another artist's logo and likeness used to mislead listeners.
No keyword stuffing, fake features, impersonation, or names designed to hijack another artist's searches. Explicit tracks must be marked explicit.
No sexual content involving minors, incitement to violence, hate speech, or content that harasses a person. Lyrics are screened like any other Plugger content.
Do not use bots, paid play farms, or coordinated fake accounts to inflate plays, likes or chart positions. Detection removes the plays and can remove the release.
Set release dates you can honour. Scheduled releases go live automatically at the time you choose and cannot be moved after they go live without re-publishing.
Advertise only your own releases and events, with accurate dates, venues and artwork. Promotions that mislead listeners are ended without refund.
Breaches may lead to a muted release, removed upload, lost promotion spend, badge removal, or suspension of your artist or label profile.
