Plugger Music Policy

Plugger policies

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Scope

This policy explains how Plugger Music handles artist and label accounts, listener data, analytics and paid promotions.

Artist and label accounts

Your Music profile (artist or label name, bio, photo, city, links and contact email) is public on Plugger Music. Anyone can find your releases, plays, likes and gifts.

Listener data

We record plays, likes, reactions, gifts, comments and playlists so your library, charts and analytics work. Listening history is shown to you in your library and used to power charts and recommendations.

Analytics you receive

Approved artists and labels can see plays, likes, comments, shares, gifts, weekly play trends and promotion performance. Analytics are aggregated and never expose listener identities.

Promotions and advertising

Music promotions and event ads are shown with a Promoted label. We count impressions and clicks, keep the campaign records tied to your profile, and never sell your listener data to advertisers.

Payments

Promotions are paid with Plugger Coins and recorded in your wallet activity. Coin purchases run through the Coin Store and Stripe; card details never reach Plugger.

Copyright complaints

Rights holders can report a release through Plugger support or any content menu. We review each report, may mute the release while we investigate, and notify the uploader.

Retention and deletion

Published releases, credits and promotion records stay while your account is active. Unpublished releases remain in your artist shelf until you delete them. Deleting your account removes your releases from the public catalogue.

Your controls

You can unpublish a release, pause or end a promotion, and edit your music profile at any time from the artist and label tools.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and keep Plugger safe, plus optional analytics cookies to understand what's working. See our Privacy Policy and POPIA notice.
